Boat Test #1640

Bayliner has revived their popular Trophy series with the introduction of six new center consoles for freshwater and saltwater fishing. The 22-foot T22CC features a deep-V hull and a user-friendly design; its dry-riding interior will make runs to your favourite fishing spot even more enjoyable. There’s also ample room for casting in the broad bow which easily transitions into a comfortable lounging area by snapping removable cushions into place. Anglers will appreciate the convenience of a self-bailing cockpit, an enclosed head compartment underneath the console, under-gunwale rod storage, and an optional aerated livewell under a rear bench seat.

Other notable options include a T-top with four rod holders, a 6’ Bimini top, cockpit table, digital depth finder, power steering, transom shower, a portable head, and 7-, 9-, or 12-inch glass dash screen with engine data. Flip-up transom seats, a stainless package – which includes fuel fill, horn vent, bow latches, and rubrail –, an exterior LED lighting package, teak mat cockpit flooring, and a choice of four hull colours and two interior colours are other options to consider. Add an available ski pylon, and you are ready for towing fun when the fishing slows.

The T22CC can be powered by your choice of five single Mercury motors, from the 115-hp 4-stroke EFI Command Thrust to a 300 hp 4-stroke. A tandem axle, galvanized trailer with brakes, and swing tongue are also available. All Bayliner boats are backed by the company’s 10-year B-Sure Advantage coverage.
