Campion Muskoka 28

By Bill Jennings
Boat Test #1634
Watch for a spectacular new boat line from Campion in 2021. Built on what they call the “Apex2 Hull”, this new “Muskoka” series is designed to produce a smoother, faster, ride, in addition to better fuel economy. When you first see this Muskoka, 28-footer, you will immediately notice the vertical bow.   In the classic boats of yesteryear, this “cutwater” entry design allowed displacement boats of the time to cut into waves rather than lift the bow. This resulted in a smoother ride with less pounding. But this new Muskoka design is not just smooth riding in displacement mode. It utilizes turn down strakes and chines for easy planning, then thanks to its dual deadrise for added centerline lift, it achieves competitive planning speeds. The Apex2 hull design has been exhaustively tested by Campion. The new hull is also built around Campions three-part interlocking unibody, construction for maximum strength. One test ride and you will be very favourably impressed.
The hull features of this Campion line provide a remarkably advanced performance, it is the interior layout and amenities that rank this boat among the best. From a practical standpoint Every square inch of the cockpit design has been optimized for the ultimate in boat use possibilities.  Whether you dine on the water, relax on a sun-lounge, or enjoy a day filled with watersports, this Muskoka bowrider has it all.  It even includes a private head, and has seating for up to sixteen passengers and each seat is built with high-end upholstery with detailed stitching.
The Muskoka Command System includes an ultra-bright vertical display from which you can access every important boat function with a touch of your finger – – engine systems, maintenance, lighting, navigation, trouble shooting, marine accessories and more.
The new “Muskoka series”, with its Apex2 hull, is a perfect balance of new world functionality and performance with sophisticated engineering and timeless styling.
