Finnish yacht builder Axopar brings a fresh new concept to the water for 2026, with their new 2026 Axopar 38 Sun Top model, redefining the high-performance adventure day boat segment. These open-air models introduce an array of highly meaningful upgrades that elevate onboard luxury, spatial efficiency, and rough-water seakeeping without sacrificing the brand’s signature, sports-car-like driving dynamics.
Axopar’s designer Jarkko Jämsén teamed up with Jan-Erik Viitala, Creative and Innovation Director to let the sun in on the new 38-foot platform that boasts an expanded beam of 11’7”, ensuring the forward cabin now delivers genuine stand-up headroom and features asymmetrical gullwing doors that flood the space with natural light. The mid-section cockpit can be customized with independent sports seats or a forward-facing U-sofa to form a massive sunbed. Aft deck layouts include open aft (standard), wet bar, & cockpit U-sofa.
Riding on a refined, twin-stepped 20-degree V-hull, the vessel slices through choppy offshore swells with unprecedented structural solidity. When rigged with twin Mercury 350-horsepower V10 outboards, the boat effortlessly achieves speeds north of 45 knots. The Axopar 38 Sun Top stands out as the definitive open cruiser of 2026.
