Boat Test #1677
The new Adventurer series boasts wide beams, carpeted decks, vinyl cockpits, a stern aerated livewell, centre rod storage, in-floor storage, and Integrated Gunnel Track System (IGTS). With such features, is it any surprise that this line is so well known within fishing circles? New for 2021, the Adventurer 188 Pro DC has a length of 18’11” and a beam of 96”.
You’ll find many deck features which come standard on this model. Note the full vinyl floor, wood free fishing seats, trolling motor panel, and lifetime hull warranty. Enjoy some music on the water with the AM/FM stereo – just don’t get too comfortable, as the Adventurer 188 Pro DC also offers Extreme Steering as a standard feature.
What about options? Choose between silver metallic with a white or blue stripe, depending on your style. There are also four dash choices for your selection: Humminbird PiranhaMAX4, Humminbird Helix 5 Sonar GPS with RAM Mount, Humminbird Helix 7 DI G2N Sonar GPS with RAM Mount, and Humminbird Helix 9 DL Sonar GPS with RAM Mount. Your canvas options include a snap-on mooring cover and a fisherman’s top; miscellaneous additions, meanwhile, include an additional fishing seat, a ski tow pylon, and a swim platform with a stainless-steel ladder.
The Adventurer 188 Pro DC has a maximum horsepower of 175 HP and a dry weight of 1,603 lb. You can seat six people on this model, meaning the whole family – or group of friends, for that matter – can enjoy a day on the water. For specific occasions, use the IGTS Mood Lighting to create the perfect scene. Don’t forget, too, that Smoker Craft fishing boats come with lifetime limited hull warranties. They also offer a six-year limited warranty on marine grade carpet and a six-year limited warranty on upholstery and vinyl on most models.
