Marquis Yachts describes their yachts as “A Life..Limitless…” I would describe the all new M42 as sexy, something that you expect to see in Miami, a yacht that makes you feel like you should be on the cover of Forbes Magazine. She is a 40+ pmh express cruiser / day boat with a head turning aggressive profile that should be compared to that of a Lamborghini.
I can’t get over how classy and stylish the cockpit layout is.  The gigantic 9 foot wide sun pad and u-shaped lounger to the port side provide plenty of space for alfresco dining or sunbathing. The wet bar to the starboard side can be hidden away or opened up for when you want to pop a bottle or two of bubbly with friends. Grill, sink, ice maker and refrigerator and more are all easy to access when needed.
The port side helm is unique for an American made boat, but adds to the alure of the M42.  The helm is laid out perfectly with two large 16” RayMarine displays, joystick docking and throttles.  All of the switches are within reach on both the left and right side of the tilt steering wheel.
This day boat is set up and designed for entertaining.  The integrated retractable swim platform provides ample room for swimming or for an evening dance party. There is a cabin with the basic amenities.  A single forward berth, small galley and huge head with separate shower.
Equipped with either the 6.7L Cummins Diesels (480 HP each) or trip Mercury 400’s this sexy machine will meet anyone’s expectations. Pod drives are not needed on this model as the inboards handle very similar with the joy stick.   However, if you choose the trips, you should up the speeds to see 50+, but you will lose the hydraulic swim platform, which truly makes the stern of this boat.
This cockpit will have the entire marina talking.  She is all about entertaining whether it is on the water or at the dock.  If you want to be the center of attention and own the boat that everyone is talking about, the M42 is your stopping point.  Bottom line, she is a partier and equipped and laid out to entertain you and your guests for hours on end.  Just be careful when you step foot onto this yacht, her addictive nature may never let you off.
