Master Promotions Ltd. announced today the postponement of 2021’s Ottawa Boat Show due to COVID-19 concerns. The event would have taken placed February 25-28 of next year at the EY Centre. The organization reached this decision with considerable thought: the Ottawa Boat Show has been the unofficial launch of the Ottawa Region’s boating season for 45 years, welcoming hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors annually in the process. Ottawa will see the show again February 24-27, 2022.
Master Promotions Ltd. emphasizes that the health and safety of its exhibitors, partners, visitors, and contractors is their top priority. Additional postponement factors included both the ability to provide a quality audience to exhibitors and need of adequate time to produce a successful show. The organization would like to thank the Ottawa Boat Show community for its unwavering support from exhibitors, visitors, sponsors, and partners. As Master Promotions Ltd. believes in the “strength of face-to-face business and networking opportunities that shows provide”, they will not offer a virtual trade show for 2021.
Instead, the company has introduced the Ottawa Boat Show Digital Marketing Platform. Over the next few weeks, they will unveil an entirely new website feature designed to connect exhibitors with visitors in a unique way. This platform will be distributed to an audience database of approximately 10,000 past visitors. In addition, it will include an integrated, multichannel advertising campaign including social media platforms. More information forthcoming.
