Manitou 27 X-Plode XT

The Manitou 27 X-Plode is a stunning example of what a high-performance pontoon boat should be. The all-fiberglass structure with the optional aluminum sport arch give the 27 X-Plode clean lines, unlike the traditional aluminum railing construction on many other boats. This is clearly a pontoon boat meant to perform.  And perform it does. Powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 400R outboards, this pontoon’s 800-horsepower provide enough force to propel it through the water at speeds of up to 70mph. The control center for all this power is brilliantly simple. There’s one switch. It’s for the horn. Every other system on the boat is controlled by the touchscreen interface. The 400R outboards feature joystick controls for precise maneuvering and Skyhook functionality for those moments when the 27 X-Plode needs to sit still. The available rear-facing loungers offer a great view of the action behind the boat and all the upholstery is top-notch. Watersports enthusiasts will appreciate the two tow points, one up high on the sport arch and the other mounted between the engines. The 8-channel sound system with 800-watt amplifier and 10” subwoofer will keep the party going.
