A new era for Cruisers Yachts

By: Jarrett Matthews

Cruisers Yachts has long been known for its blend of American craftsmanship, innovation, and passion for the open water. With more than 70 years of experience and an expansive manufacturing facility covering over 600,000 square feet, the brand has steadily built a reputation for creating boats that push the boundaries of both form and function. Now, with the introduction of the 57 FLY, Cruisers Yachts steps confidently into a new era.

Originally envisioned as a 55-foot yacht, the final design gained an additional two feet through a custom swim platform, justifying its 57-foot designation. More than just a number, this extended length contributes to a vessel that feels spacious, balanced, and thoroughly modern.

Every element of the yacht has been crafted to optimize entertainment and comfort. The standout flybridge serves as both the social hub and command center, featuring U-shaped seating for up to 12 guests, a hi-lo dining table, and a galley that includes a sink, fridge, and storage. Optional upgrades such as a grill, extra fridge, and ice maker make hosting on this elevated deck effortless.

The flybridge is shaded by a durable fiberglass hardtop, allowing the space to be enjoyed in varying weather conditions. Whether piloting from the upper helm using Volvo IPS joystick controls or relaxing with friends, the flybridge is a versatile and integral part of the onboard experience.

On the main deck, the salon is equally inviting. Expansive windows flood the space with natural light, creating a sense of openness and connection to the environment. Sliding glass doors extend the interior into the cockpit, where a U-shaped seating area wraps around a dinette.

One of the yacht’s most talked-about features is the innovative veranda system. At the touch of a button, a portion of the portside hull lowers to create a private, water-level lounge with two lockable bar stools and a safety rail. This unexpected design element not only enhances the outdoor experience but also redefines what’s possible in yacht architecture.

The aft section is tailored for fun and utility. A large hydraulic swim platform easily accommodates water toys, and a hidden sun lounge on the transom adds a space for relaxation. A wet head is conveniently accessible from the platform, ensuring swimmers and sunbathers can freshen up before heading inside. There’s also the option to convert this area into a compact crew quarters with a mattress, refrigeration, and air conditioning.

Inside, the 57 FLY offers refined accommodations for overnight cruising. The full-beam master suite features an ensuite bathroom with an ocean-view window, a separate shower, and designer fixtures. A queen berth, lounge seating, and a large wardrobe provide the comfort of a high-end hotel room. The forward VIP stateroom includes another queen berth, while a third stateroom features twin beds. Both share a well-appointed bathroom and have access to entertainment through 32-inch QLED TVs.

Performance has not been overlooked. Powered by twin 750-hp Volvo Penta D11 950 IPS engines, the yacht delivers a smooth, powerful ride with a top speed of 34.7 mph. Docking and tight maneuvering are simplified with joystick control, and a Seakeeper 9 gyrostabilizer ensures comfort even in choppy conditions.

In alignment with the growing demand for sustainability, the 57 FLY incorporates energy-efficient lighting and natural materials. The hull’s design also contributes to reduced fuel consumption, extending cruising range while minimizing environmental impact.
