Electrically speaking, a 12V triple bank battery charger is standard along with a battery switch and a 120V outlet. USB and 12V outlets are found throughout the boat along with 17 cup holders – yes 17 stainless-steel cup holders, so don’t forget the drinks and your ‘koozies’ to keep everything cool once they are out of the cooler under the sun pad! An AM/FM stereo and four speakers are also standard as is Apple AirPlay.
The digital dash on 260 is designed for ergonomics including a chart plotter loaded with maps, plus every other item you would expect to need from the world’s largest boat manufacturer including power assisted steering and electronic gear shifting.
The Sea Ray 260 SLX is powered by an ample 6.2L/350 HP Mercruiser inboard coupled to Mercury’s proven Bravo Three outdrive with dual stainless-steel props. Maximum speed with a light load is in the high 40 mph range. Loaded up with fuel, eight to ten passengers and pulling a skier you will be in the high 30’s or low 40 mph range.
