Calgary Boat Show: Feb 9-12th

The 2017 Calgary Boat and Sportsmen’s Show, Southern Alberta’s Biggest Boat and Outdoor Show takes place at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park February 9-12th, 2017.
“There is so much to see and do at this year’s Calgary Boat and Sportsmen’s Show” says Pamela Ziwani, Show Manager – Alberta, “marine products, camping and fishing gear, conservation groups, hands on displays and a whole lot of entertainment on the Outdoor Stage, all included in the price of admission.”
We are super excited to have Hank Patterson as our special guest on Friday, February 10th. He is a self-proclaimed fly-fishing expert and “world’s greatest guide.” And to top it all off he is a comedian. Hank is a down to earth outdoorsmen that tells it like it is – at least from his perspective. He wants you to forget everything you every thought you knew about fly-fishing because is about to change it all. His fun, light-hearted performance is sure to get a few chuckles from those that can relate. Following each of his Shows he will take the time to meet and greet fans and sign a few autographs.
Some of the other presenters on the outdoor stage include Wes David; writer, wildlife photographer and Host of Fishing the Wild West, TJ Schwanky outdoor writer and host of Outdoor Quest TV, Josh Nugent, writer, photographer and fly-fishing outfitter and guide.
For some really lively entertainment the West Coast Lumberjack Mountain Show is a must see. Presented by Husqvarna this show is action packed and features head to head competition in a variety of events including underhand chop, log rolling, axe throwing, These skilled teams are made up of past and present Canadian Champions so the rivalry will be intense.
The Kids Trout Fishing Pond provides an opportunity for all kids 12 and under the chance to catch and release a live trout right at the Show. All the proceeds benefit the Calgary and Sarcee Fish and Game Associations.
