Bridging the Gap.

Boat Test #1476

The name Beneteau is synonymous with luxury and quality.  The Monte Carlo 6 is no exception as she has all the qualities that you would expect to find on a mega yacht.  The MC 6 bridges the gap between the cruiser line and the 100 plus footers.
Dating back more than 130 years ago, Benjamin Beneteau started building fishing trawlers in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, France. Today, Beneteau has grown to over twenty manufacturing facilities in France, Italy, Brazil and the United States and has become the worldwide leader in all size ranges and both power and sail. There is no question that Mr. Beneteau would be proud of what the company has accomplished and to have his name on the side of each and every boat.
During the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Monte Carlo hosted a party celebrating one of its larger yachts (an MC 105 who was being purchased by a previous MC owner returning for yet another Beneteau), but it was the MC 6 that stole the show.  She stood tall and along the walkway with the spot lights beaming off of her hull and black hard top.  Her stature, the persona that she gave off, it was a no wonder that people automatically gravitated towards her.
Her sleek lines and elegantly crafted exterior only left me to wonder how amazing the interior must be.  I can personally tell you, it did not disappoint with every inch well engineered, laid out and thought out.  From the pop up deck lights, to the retractable hard top roof, or the hydraulic swim platform (with integrated tender brackets) the MC 6 has everything – literally everything you could think of.  The ambiance inside no matter which room or salon you are in has natural light illuminating the entire boat.
The bridge is plush and inviting topside and includes a u-shaped lounge, entertainment center complete with grill and refrigerator and a sun pad that any supermodel wouldn’t mind spending an afternoon on.  The bow is home to two large powered sunpads and the outside cockpit area’s space surrounding the couch on the stern allows the owner to create their own conversational area – and includes a power shade.
The main salon leaves nothing to the imagination with 360° window lighting and 7 foot head room, a galley that the Iron Chef would kill for, including a drawer freezer and refrigerator combo along with a nice sized wine cooler. The dinette table can be raised for meals or lowered for cocktails.  Below, the master stateroom is comparable to a luxury hotel, but the guest suite is not far behind with a plush layout.
The Monte Carlo 6  is remarkably equipped, and the layout is reminiscent of a huge terrace with an integrated galley and serving area that invites both you and your guests to enjoy the water, the food, the beverages, and of course the company. Seeking something that will turn eyes and drop jaws?  Look no further than the Beneteau MC 6 as she will not disappoint you, or your guests, for years to come.
