Crownline is renowned for its robust build quality, and the 240 DC is no exception. DC stands for dual-console, and the 240 DC model is equipped with Crownline’s signature F.A.S.T. Tab® hull design, which enhances stability, reduces drag, and improves handling. The hull features a multi-layered construction that results in a boat that is highly resistant to cracking and structural damage, even under impact.
Avid fishermen and women will appreciate the features incorporated into the 240 DC. These include port and starboard cockpit bench seats that stow away to provide additional fishing areas. Standard features also include a 14 lb stainless steel plow anchor, a rear aerated bait well with an access lid and clear acrylic window, and in-floor fish boxes with macerators. Rod holders abound around the heavy-duty hardtop extends to provide cover from sun and inclement weather, and there is a head compartment with a sink, granite top, opening portlight, mirror, and a porta-potty that adds privacy when needed.
The 240 DC doesn’t skimp on comfort. It boasts deluxe swivel captain and companion bucket seats with flip-up bolsters, bow flip-down armrests, and a portable side-mount table. LED lighting in the cockpit and overhead work lights enhance visibility, while the swim platform mat provides a soft touch with a diamond pattern.
The 240 DC comes equipped with upgraded Garmin 7″ twin touch screens featuring LakeVü G3 maps, as well as Garmin BlueChart G3 maps. The GPS system includes ultra-high-definition SideVü, ClearVü, and traditional CHIRP sonar capabilities, ensuring excellent navigation and fish-finding performance. And the flush dashboard switches are a nice feature, lighting up when activated, and easy to clean. A second convenient switch panel in the rear cockpit is a great feature, allowing boaters to control all cockpit features without having to move to the helm.
The boat includes a trailer with Dexter torsion axles and brakes, black aluminum rims, diamond plate fenders, welded tie-downs, LED lighting, and a V-block for the windlass. Additional features include a stainless steel 4-step boarding ladder, freshwater hand-held shower at the stern, and Wet Sounds premium stereo system with six speakers, to keep the party going all day long.
