2026 Princecraft 27 Vogue RL

A seamless blend of luxury, performance, and versatility

We were most excited, once again, to be invited to the Princecraft 2026 new model launch, hosted at the beautiful Manoir du Lac William, in Ferdin, Quebec, just a one-hour drive from Montreal.

We had the opportunity to meet with J.P. Martin-Dubois, VP Sales and Marketing, who took us through the lineup of the new boats. J.P. has many years of experience, encompassing all aspects of the boat design, manufacturing, and outfitting.

Neatly tied up to the docks was the new Princecraft Vogue 27 RL , which was exactly the model I wanted to focus on, along with the 25 Vogue.

We ran the 27 RL, weighing approximately 3,760 lbs carrying an 8’6” beam and a transom strong enough to take the optional 500 h.p. powerplant. The Vogue RL, like all Princecraft models is built with precision at the plant in Princeville, Quebec, by some of the most talented craftsmen in North America. Many of whom have been with the company for decades, and who are training the next generation of boat builders.

The boats are conceived and designed in-house, and tweaked to perfection by the design team, with input from the dealer network.

The Vogue 25RL represents one of the most enthralling expressions of modern pontoon design available today. Coming in with an overall length of 27’ and a beam of 8-6”, the Vogue 27 RL offers a spacious deck that’s perfect for socialites, extended day cruises, or a relaxing day at the sand bar. What truly sets the Vogue apart is its attention to onboard comfort and entertainment. “Keeping up with the Jones’” in the vast luxury pontoon market; the RL features thoughtfully arranged seating that promotes conversation, lounging, and ease of movement. Plush upholstery, integrated cup holders with USB-C and wireless charging ports, and multi-position seats help make every outing feel like a social event. 

Princecraft 27 Vogue: The Helm Area

The helm area highlights Princecraft’s focus on driver experience. A raised, fiberglass helm with a padded footrest and Mercury® power steering delivers intuitive control, while digital instrumentation keeps important information at your fingertips. The standard SIMRAD® NSX9 touchscreen display combines navigational GPS with sonar, and audio entertainment comes courtesy of a high-quality Hertz Marine stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity and multiple waterproof speakers. 

Practical features are also thoughtfully included. The standard Lilipad boarding ladder makes it easy to get on and off the boat from the water, while multiple gates with lift-and-lock hinges improve safety and ease. Storage isn’t sacrificed either; from vast under-seat compartments to integrated dinette tables, utility drawers under seats, and optional sink modules, the RL layout anticipates a variety of recreational needs. Princecraft also includes integrated garbage compartments, keeping the deck tidy and functional with your big crew. 

With the luxury market boasting aura and flare across manufacturers’ line up, the lighting on the Vogue 27 RL isn’t an afterthought — RGBW LED mood lighting illuminates both interior and exterior areas, enhancing ambiance – whether cruising at sunset or entertaining after dark. LED docking lights pair nicely with the ambiance of the 27 RL, and cater to those evening cruises we all love so much! 

Princecraft 27 Vogue: Optional Upgrades

Beyond the standard configuration, buyers can choose upgrades like the Platinum Edition, which elevates interior finishes with premium cognac and black upholstery featuring advanced “cool-touch” materials, embroidered details, and enhanced flooring. Exterior color options include metallic shades like Laguna Blue, Ruby Red, White, and Black, allowing owners to tailor the aesthetic to their preferences.

Performance On The Water

Sitting in the Captain’s chair, looking over the helm and windscreen, the view was excellent – I was very impressed with the glass structure of the helm console, plus an array of instrumentation that was simply dazzling. 

Before accelerating we literally looked all over for some decent water with a good chop. To get a feel of the new Mercury 425 V10 Verado and how it pushed the hull. Later on we did find some decent chop and did several 180 degree turns, as well as some serious 360 degree turns. The Vogue RL stayed solid with very little shake and hull movement. With the boat at full throttle she maneuvered beautifully and the tunnels ripped through the waves effortlessly. The RL also offers the 500 HP and dialing in on the propellers she will probably run close to 70 MPH.

The V10 motor ran extremely quiet, with no valve clatter. Smooth and effortless.

The absolute best part of my experience with the Vogue 27 RL was the nimble and effortless maneuverability while driving. Powered by a 425 Mercury V10 Verado with the Revolution X 4 Blade Stainless Propeller, and achieved upwards of 60 MPH. Performance options for the 27 RL include up to 500 HP, which adds boosty acceleration, higher cruising speeds, and more effortlessness in power to tow watersports and inflatables.
