Scout Boats’ new flagship, the 670 LXS, blends sportfishing capability with luxury cruising for the South Carolina builder’s largest model. Powered by five Mercury V12 600-hp outboards, the 670 LXS (66’ 9” LOA, 16’ 2” beam) has serious offshore capabilities, cruising 40 mph and a range approaching 500 miles.
Port and starboard hydraulic balconies fold down to create a large deck area, while the mezzanine-style seating and nearby grill and refrigerator are perfect for entertaining. The bow has U-shaped seating with a table in the center that can be converted to a sun pad.
Doors let air and light into the enclosed cockpit, which includes four helm seats, a full galley and dining area. Access to the cabins is between the helm seats, where below there are three staterooms each with private heads that have a separate toilet and shower.
Standard electronics at the helm on the 670 XS include dual Garmin 22” displays, a Garmin 943 MFD display, Zipwake trim tab control system and a bow anchor camera.
