Four Winns’ fantastic H2 Surf

By: Captain Christopher Kourtakis

The Four Winns H2 surf was designed to provide a great looking boat with best-in-class performance. The H2 does just that with several power layout options to choose from. The H2 combines style with performance for a great day on the water. Whether you are looking for a surf boat or a family runabout, the H2 will check off every box on your list.

The first thing you notice about the H2 is the large swim platform with the optional smaller extension on the stern of the boat. This provides great access to the water for surfing or hanging out on the sand bar. The second thing that catches your eye is the optional gun metal finished powered wake board tower. The tower has additional speakers and wake board storage racks mounted on the either side.Introducing the all-new Four Winns H2

The cockpit seating area is plush, comfortable, and versatile. The passenger seat design is functional and has a pull up bolster if you want to stand or sit up a little higher.

One great design function is the back of the passenger seat can be adjusted for front or rear facing with the flip flop design. The aft seating wraps all the way around the back of the cockpit.

Access to the swim platform is easy. Just lift up the cushions on either side of the seating and sun pad to expose the nonskid walking surfaces. The cushions on the sun pad can also be positioned for sitting up while laying down on the pad.

If you plan to surf the boat, you can opt for the ballast tanks on either side of the boat and the wake enhancement tabs that are installed on the transom of the boat. At the helm, the forward drive can be controlled with the medallion touch screen that lets you set your cruise control, surf, complete engine monitoring and allows you to control the stereo.

If you opt out of the medallion display, you will get the standard single or optional twin Simrad displays that provide similar controls and information for your engine. The aluminum billet trim, lighted aircraft style switches, and race car styled tilt steering wheel complete the overall look and feel of the dash area.

Overall, Four Winns met its goal when designing this boat. The lines, colour options, design features, handling and performance make this model perfect for anyone looking to spend a great day on the water.
