Svfara SV2   by Steve Fennell
An all-new wakeboard contender that’s slick, smooth and stylish.

SvfaraCanadian-based Svfara Marine expands its offerings for the new model year with the SV2, an all-new wakeboard boat designed with a series of bells and whistles to provide non-stop excitement this season.

The SV2 has a length of 23 feet (without swim platform), a beam of 102 inches and is designed to offer solid, stable rides. Some key appointments on this V-drive model includes a maximum power rating of 425 horses to provide the boost when the duty calls plus a 1,200-pound ballast that can roll out monster wakes.

Fun is also provided for passengers as well. There’s no need to worry about leaving anyone behind at the dock thanks to an expansive seating arrangement that allows a 12-person capacity. A unique touch is the 34-ounce upholstery, which is called Whisper, a durable, comfortable material that guarantees use season after season.

For those relegated to the wheel will undoubtedly enjoy the stylish helm. It features everything you would expect in a high-performance towboat including a Faria gauge package, depth sounder and even ambient water and air temperature gauges. Teleflex rack and pinion steering, a Dino custom steering wheel, a fuel management system plus a trip log are other highlights. The helm is also equipped to feature PerfectPass, a marine cruise and speed control system designed to maintain a constant speed for those on the rope. Some options definitely worth considering is the rear-view mirror with adjustable bracket, and the Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo. Svfara also offers a subwoofer along with a digital remote and six-disk CD changer.

Overhead, users have the choice of the company’s folding Pro Flight waketower or Svfara’s new SVGen-5 Flight Arch, a fibreglass wake tower featuring courtesy lights, board racks, a PIAA light package and speaker package. Some other appointments in the cockpit include 40-ounce carpeting, seven cup holders, stainless steel grab handles plus 10 courtesy lights. Space for gear is abundant. In addition to bow storage compartments, there’s a rear trunk with handy storage nets to stow smaller items.

To customize the SV2 just the way you want it, Svfara leaves nothing to the imagination. Bow and aft filler cushions, a Heatercraft three-vent heater (complete with heater tube), hot and cold transom shower, stainless steel sink with a pressurized fresh water holding tank and Corion wet bar. Sunbrella bow and cockpit tonneau covers are options worth checking out.

Another new offering from Svfara Marine include the SVONE, a three-event tournament ski boat designed for jumping, slalom or trick skiing and comes loaded to meet the demands of all three mediums.
