 Another
manufacturer to check this year is G3, a Lebanon, Missouri-based
company offering a long line of quality-set fishing
models, including the Angler V185F.
The 185 utilizes .100-gauge marine aluminum and G3’s
exclusive GX2 double-plated V-Hull. In addition to providing
strength, stability and reliability, this three-piece
riveted hull comes with a 25-inch transom and full-length
riveted keel for maximum durability in big water. Double
riveting along the main transom seams provide more strength,
while the available two-tone custom paint colour schemes
with high quality fade-resistant urethane paint and
custom graphics (baked on) adds beauty to strength.
The cockpit boasts 18-ounce marine-grade carpeting,
six seat bases and three high-back fold-down fishing
seats. For 2006, there’s a new slider on the passenger
seat and other new features include a two-bank Dual
Pro battery charger, hydraulic steering, a livewell
divider and upgraded speakers with a cover for the Sony
stereo.
Appointments continue with a deluxe rod management system,
24V trolling motor receptacle, fully loaded helm plus
two aerated and lighted live wells featuring a remote
drain and re-circulating pumps. In fact, the V185 F
models feature an extra-large lighted 52-inch, 36-gallon
aerated aft well. It also comes with a 500 GPH aerator
pump.
