Steering Lock (19-1)
Steve Horsfall I recently purchased a used 1991 Tempest bowrider powered by a 175 hp MerCruiser I/O. After using the boat a couple of times without a problem, I checked over the engine and noticed the power steering fluid unit was empty.

I filled the unit up and after the next outting, the fluid was down again. I refilled it again and after the next outing the fluid remained at the full level. There was no probelm with the steering up to that point.

When I took the boat out again, the steering completely locked up while backing out of the slip. I was unable to free it up. Did I cause any damage when I topped up the fluid? If I did, is there someway I can fix the problem?

Check the Hose
We own a 1988 Doral Citation and have a problem with a water leak in the aft-cabin (starboard side, rear corner). A puddle accumulates every time we fill our fresh water tank. We were wondering if you've ever heard of this problem before from any other Citation owner. We would also appreciate any suggestions you could give us of how to fix this.

MANUAL SEARCH
I am interested in purchasing a 1989 Doral Prestancia. The seller does not have the owners manual for it. I have called Doral's head office in Quebec and they only have manuals for 1994 models or newer. Do you know where I can locate one for this boat?
