Measuring an impressive 28 feet in length, MasterCraft's
X-80, qualifies as one of the largest wakeboard contenders
on the market. With this length comes a plethora of
useful amenities designed for high-flying excitement
and unforgettable cruising.
MasterCraft incorporated a running surface in the
X-80 featuring a vented stepped hull plus a forked
open bow to increase performance and provide more
room for passengers.
Highlighted
features start at the stern. A large, integrated fiberglass
swim platform allows more than enough room to prepare
for runs. While teak decking is a nice option, the
standard platform comes with non-slip rubber decking.
From bow to stern, the X-80 shines with space and
comfort. There's a large U-shaped lounge complete
with drink holders and backrests at each end to comfortably
spot skiers. Just ahead of the lounge, on the starboard
side, is a wet bar with a Corian countertop, a sink
and pressurized facet offering six gallons of water.
Forward passengers will enjoy the large seat facing
the enclosed head compartment. They can enjoy the
benefits of the grab rail, two drink holders and the
large dash. The helm, in MasterCraft style, comes
with a MasterView bolster seat, controls for the double
KGB liner ballast system and three custom constructed
billet aluminum gauges.
Additional cockpit highlights include snap-in carpeting,
a satellite-ready Clarion AM/FM/ CD stereo with six
speakers plus two amps and subwoofers.
A large entranceway offers access to the spacious
bow. The U-shaped lounge provides seating for four
and features port and starboard grab rails, six drink
holders, two Clarion speakers with separates and ample
storage.
Wakeboarders do need to know the X-80 comes with a
factory-installed ZeroFlex Flyer tower with built-in
board racks and a swivel light. Add the 77-gallon
fuel tank to feed the standard 6.0L, 385 hp Vortec
HO 6000 power plant, and there's no stopping the excitement.
MasterCraft has outdone itself with this latest entry.
There's many standards not even available on other
models while providing the space, comfort and wakeboarding
excitement for families and friends.
