This newcomer was engineered with the exclusive Z-Tech stepped ventilated hull. The hull design enhancement is said to deliver a more positive lift, track straighter than traditional deep-Vs and provide less wetted running surface.

As a result, top-end speed is greatly improved (with stock power) and its time to plane has been reduced.

According to Donzi, the ride is more comfortable in choppy conditions and the boat goes even faster when on light chop. The builder also claims the new 26ZX is capable of speeds exceeding 70 mph.

The 26 incorporates a full fiberglass innerliner to increase hull strength and durability. Only premium bi- and tri-axial knitted fibreglass and other hi-tech materials with high grade Z-Tech resins are used. An innovative fiberglass lamination process utilizes a high-tech closed cell foam in the transom to provide light weight and strength. The exterior finish is enhanced with a three-ounce skin coat and a premium grade gelcoat to reduce fading.

A euro-styled, wraparound windscreen with plex venturi sits above a custom dash complete with full Gaffrig by Livorsi instrumentation and a custom steering wheel. There are twin bolsters forward plus three more aft to accommodate five comfortably. A large mirrored, lighted engine hatch features a hydraulic hatch lift system and doubles as a sun pad.

Donzi can add another notch to its performance belt.
