All In The Hitch by
Steve Horsfall
I currently
own a 20-foot Cobalt that I tow with a tandem-axle trailer. I am
looking for a unit that will allow me to move the trailer around
in my driveway. I have found the Power Caster product out of the
U.S. but it is very expensive. Are there any other companies that
make this type of equipment? Are there any in Canada?

FUEL DILEMMA
I purchased a 1987 Doral Citation in amazing condition last August.
It has become our summer obsession. However, while fueling, if we
don't stand as far forward on our boat as possible, we can't fill
the fuel tank properly. At best we can only fill the tank 3/4 full.
According to the previous owner, it has been checked and everything
is as it should be. Is there is a solution for this?

REFURBISHED REQUEST
Power Boating Canada (volume 16, number 6) has a letter from
M. Campbell regarding Tempest boats. I also own a Tempest, a 1985,
21-footer which is being refurbished. Can you offer any suggestions
where I can get info or parts for these boats? I would also like
to get in touch with M. Campbell. Could you pass my e-mail to him
or her or vise versa.

In reply to M. Campbell's e-mail in
Power Boating Canada Volume 16, Number 6, regarding his decals for
his refurbished 1978 Tempest, Trimline should be able to help him
if he has a picture of his boat with the old detail work on it.
If it is a graphic he had, a high resolution picture would be best,
in other words a good clear photograph. If it was just pin stripes
he could visit any Trimline outlet and choose his pin stripes to
the best of his memory. There is no guarantee they could match the
work exactly if he did not have past pictures, but perhaps they
can create something custom and unique.
