START YOUR ENGINES... IT'S BOATING SEASON!
Summer's
finally here. Boaters across the country are eagerly launching their
craft, getting ready for another season of fun and excitement on
the water. From what I've seen and heard, all indications point
to our waterways and marinas enjoying a busier season than ever.
This is a perfect
time to promote the boating lifestyle we enjoy to those still on
the shorelines. And a new national campaign recently sprung into
action on the Canadian boating scene to do just that. Discovering
Boating has a primary obejective to attract 150,000 new boaters
to our waterways by 2006. This goal is not only set to create increased
participation, but to maintain a strong economic and positive foothold
on the Canadian boating industry. And Power Boating Canada is at
the forefront in full support!
We are committed
to promoting the boating lifestyle, just as we have for the past
16 years. If you know someone interested in power boating, there's
no better gift than to pass on a copy of this magazine. As a leading
influence on Canada's waterways, we report the latest and most exciting
new waves in the industry. From exclusively boat tests to exciting

entice those on the shore to get behind the helm. This issue proves
it!
