William E. TaylorREADERS HELP US REACH THE TOP!
There are few moments in life that are designed for pleasure. Power boating is definitely one of the ultimate family experiences that ranks high on the list. Not only is power boating simply a ticket to ride, it encompasses friendship and fun. Power boating embraces a lifestyle that is both affordable and answers the individual need to share new experiences, to keep life simple.

That in mind, our editors have compiled a selection of stories designed to enhance the pleasure of power boating. For example, a special feature on one of Ontario's most talked-about destinations - Henry's Fish House. With two easily accessible locations, this Muskoka haven is - as many boaters know - a taste treat for seafood lovers everywhere. To add icing to the cake, I'm proud to say that Power Boating Canada was the only Canadian boating magazine recently invited to two events. First up, an exclusive trip to Sweden to check out Volvo Penta's latest high-tech developments, followed by an invite-only flight to England to preview the latest products that will be unveiled at September's Southampton Boat Show. That's the kind of accolade that makes this magazine the leading publication in this country.

Since its humble beginnings in 1986, Power Boating Canada has grown tremendously to become the voice of recreational power boating in Canada. Sure, we have competition. And, while I do respect their product, I also have to point out that we are, to this day, the leader of the pack.

Part of the reason for this is that our team of experts is dedicated to bringing you top-quality editorial. Each issue of Power Boating Canada is carefully designed for the reader. Our regular columnists provide insight on the issues that matter. Our test writers report on a variety of boats that are geared to a wide range of budgets as well as tastes. Feature stories focus on destinations, technical advice and the personalities who have made significant contributions to recreational power boating in Canada.

But don't take my word for it. Check it out on the following pages. And, if you decide there's something missing, please don't hesitate to give me a call or e-mail me: bill@taylorpublishinggroup.com After all, without your cooperation, we wouldn't be Number One!
